About Chinese Performing Artists of America (CPAA) 飛揚藝術團

Founded in 1991 in Silicon Valley, CPAA is a nonprofit organization with 501 (c) 3 status. CPAA's mission is to introduce Chinese culture to the American society through performing arts. The core members of CPAA are the highly trained professional dancers, musicians, and martial artists from China. CPAA is the only art organization in America that has the expertise and resources to produce and present diverse Chinese programs on an ongoing basis. CPAA's local performances and national tours have serve 40,000 audience every year.

CPAA Arts Center, a subsidiary of CPAA, is a training center and the home of CPAA's resident artists who create many orignal works and teach their arts to 1,200 students. A 14,000 sq. ft. professionally built and managed facility, CPAA Arts Center also serves as a favorite event center in the community. It is ideal to hold big events including CPAA's annual IntMAT-PIVD, international arts competitions in February. Every year, over 1,000 art enthusiasts from US and aboard compete for the titles.

CNetwork is one of the most prominent non-profit organizations in the Chinese communities in San Francisco Bay Area and run by volunteers. It was founded in 1996 by a group of Chinese students and scholars at Stanford University. With innovation and social impact in mind, CNetwork aims to

- Foster a strong sense of community
- Advocate and safeguard our rights and interests
- Promote cultural and economical interchanges between China and the United States
